Is Your Dog Worse Than Marley? Time To Call The Dog Senseis!

After more than a decade teaching people how the discipline, structure and physical activity of martial arts can change your life, Family Martial Arts Academy is turning its expertise to the dogs?
"Many dogs are regarded as members of the family," said Joel Levy, co-director of Family Martial Arts and director of its "The Dog Senseis!" program. "That is why after years of success in teaching discipline to our students of the martial arts, we began using the same positive methods to teach discipline in a positive way to our dogs."
Does your dog drive you nuts? Do you have the worst behaved dog in the world? Could your dog rival John Grogan's Marley of the well known book, and upcoming movie?
"We Can Help!" Levy said.

Having rescued a few shelter dogs that were totally lovable and just plain nuts, Levy used the same systematic approach to doggy discipline as he and his co-director and wife, Yvonne, do in their martial arts classes. The result: Dogs that are lovable, easier to handle and with much better manners.
"We discovered that being a Sensei to the dogs is just as much fun, and just as effective as it is in karate," Joel Levy said.
Don't worry. Your dog won't start splitting boards with karate chops. The goal is to help your dog become happier and more balanced through a few key modifications in daily routine, which just take a little practice and consistency for your dog to learn. The program will also show owners how to follow up with the training to maintain a happy and positive relationship with your dog for years to come.
"The Dog Senseis!" offer a free dog consultation and evaluation by appointment, and will recommend a course of training.
This is not a course that teaches just "Sit, Stay, Come," although the program can do that as well.
"We help dogs who are out of balance become balanced," Levy said. "From there the rest is easy. Let us share our martial arts expertise with your dog."
